This summer Julien’s Auctions is hosting a Summer Entertainment Sale and Star Trek Auction, including several pieces from Gene Roddenberry’s estate, as well as donations from William Shatner. The auction will be held Sunday June 27, 2010, at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, with proceeds donated to charity. Items up for auction include scripts, costumes, memorabilia, and other personal items from the Roddenberry’s home. William Shatner has also consigned some of his belongings, including his custom Harley Davidson motorcycle, “Walk of Fame” plaque, and other items from his personal collection. Partial proceeds from William Shatner’s pieces go to benefit “The Hollywood Horse Show”.
Attention Doctor Who collectors and fans. Several costumes and props from the BBC’s long-running Doctor Who series go up for auction February 24 at Bonhams in London. The auction includes costumes and props from the David Tennant years, as well as items from prior Doctor incarnations. It’s a fantastic selection of new and old pieces that would be great additions to anyone’s collection.
Items going under the gavel later this month include:
- David Tennant’s two-piece Paul Smith dinner suit (from Voyage of the Damned special)
- Kyle Minogue’s waitress costume (also from Voyage of the Damned)
- David Morrissey’s complete costume from the 2008 episode, The Next Doctor
- Cyberman costumes of various designs and sizes from the 1980s
- Two Imperial Daleks from 1988 (one was altered for exhibition purposes)
- A jacket, pajamas and dressing gown worn by Billie Piper
- Various garments worn by Freema Agyeman and Catherine Tate
- A Sea Devil Warrior costume
- And many more items

Several pieces of Hollywood memorabilia are up for auction October 8 and 9, 2009, including many from the late Stan Winston’s collection. Profiles in History is presenting their Fall 2009 auction with over 1000 lots of props, costumes, posters, photos, scripts and artwork. Among the pieces from the Stan Winston Studios collection: a screen-used T-800 complete costume from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, a six-foot tall T-800 endoskelton, and a T-Rex maquette from Jurassic Park. Other pieces going under the gavel include props and costumes from other sci-fi and fantasy movies like Transformers, Star Wars, Fifth Element, Back to the Future, 2010, Batman Returns, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and many more.
