Hot Toys has released some new details about their new 1/6th scale Perseus figure from the movie Clash of the Titans. Set to release in the third quarter of 2010, the highly detailed and articulated Perseus figure, based on the portrayal by Sam Worthington, includes multiple accessories such as armor, weapons, and Medusa’s severed head.
Sideshow Collectibles has opened up pre-orders for the new T-700 life-size bust. From the movie Terminator Salvation, the T-700 bust was developed jointly by Sideshow Collectibles and Legacy Effects. The limited-edition bust is a full size replica (13″ tall x 8″ wide x 8″ deep) based on the original production designs, and features a textured endoskeleton finish and light-up eyes. The Terminator T-700 bust retails for about $500 and is scheduled to begin shipping in June 2010.

Michael Crawford, Captain Toy, has posted a great review of the Mars Attacks! Martians from Hot Toys on his site, MWCToys.com. From the 1996 movie Mars Attacks!, the Martian Soldier and Martian Ambassador figures are 1:6 scale, standing about 10-inches tall. With over 13 points of articulation, the poseable figures include several additional accessories and extras, including weapon, interchangeable hands, display stand, and more. Each retails for about $120.

Sideshow Collectibles announced today that priority pre-orders begin next Friday for the newest figure in their 1/6 scale Militaries Of Star Wars collection; Revenge Of The Sith The 501st Legion: Vader’s Fist Clone Trooper. Sideshow Collectibles has posted a preview page with all the details and requirements for getting in on this limited-edition, 12-inch figure. The priority pre-orders begin next week, April 2, 2010, at 10 am PT. Edition size and pricing have not yet been released, though similar figures in the series retail for about $90.

The new limited-edition Goa’uld Death Glider replica from Quantum Mechanix is now available and shipping . Similar in size to the first craft in Quantum Mechanix’s Stargate SG-1 series, the F-302 Strategic Fighter/Interceptor, the wingspan of the Death Glider is about 8 inches, with a detailed resin base featuring a miniature Stargate, DHD, and stone circle. The Death Glider itself matches the designs and CGI files used for the show, featuring highly detailed carvings on the wings and body, plus two armored Jaffa pilots in the cockpit. This collector-scale replica is limited to just 1,500 pieces, each individually-numbered, and retails for about $100.
