Halo: Reach is nearly here. September 14 is the official release date, though some fans may be able to secure their copy with special Midnight Madness events near them. As we noted before, the game will be offered in several flavors, with lots of extra goodies and bonuses bundled with the special editions. For just the standard game, look to pay about $60. To secure the Legendary Edition, expect to shell out $150. Needless to say, Halo: Reach is exclusive to the Xbox 360.
Blizzard Entertainment announced today the official release date of Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty, the highly anticipated follow-up game to the 1998 hit Starcraft. First announced in May 2007, the Starcraft 2 game has been in beta testing mode since February of this year. You can pre-order your copy now for about $60 at Amazon.com and other retailers; a Collector’s Edition version will set you back $100. Shortly after its release to retail, the game will also be available for purchase directly from Blizzard.
Bungie and Microsoft revealed today the details of the new Halo: Reach video game, exclusive to the Xbox 360. Three “flavors” will be available for gamers this fall: standard, Limited and Legendary editions. The Legendary edition includes the coveted 10-inch Nobel Team statuette. All three editions are available for pre-order right now from many retailers, including GameStop and Amazon, with retail prices ranging from $60 to $150.
