Hallmark has announced the new holiday Keepsake Ornaments in their 2010 lineup, including several for sci-fi and fantasy fans. Star Trek and Star Wars are once again represented, as well as a few other genre ornaments. Quite a broad range with lots of options. Take a look at the Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Dreambook to see them all. Retail prices for the sci-fi ornaments vary, ranging from $15 to $33. Many of these ornaments will appear in stores starting in July.

Available only at Borders and Borders.com. Retail price $59.99
Now, all of your cookies kept in one place! The TARDIS cookie jar, available at ThinkGeek, solves all your cookie storage problems. OK, maybe not. Although the Doctor’s TARDIS may be infinitely bigger on the inside than it is on the outside, this cookie jar won’t quite offer that level of cookie storage. But it is pretty cool looking, and it even “talks” (alright, it makes neat sound effect noises). Let’s just hope it doesn’t dematerialize off your counter and show up in some distant part (or time) of the galaxy with all your Oreo cookies. Selling for about $27, this cookie containing contraption stands about 11 inches tall and uses 3 button cell batteries (which they are kind enough to include).
Available from ThinkGeek and other retailers. Retail price $26.99
Even if your dad isn’t a Dark Lord of the Sith, he may still enjoy this new Father’s Day video greeting card from Hallmark coming out in May. The card includes a real LCD video screen that plays a selection of clips of Star Wars characters in father-esque moments. The actual clip runs just under 1 minute. The artwork of the card features Darth Vader and poster artwork from A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. Pretty nice looking card, though as some have noted, it may not last long on store shelves.
Available from Hallmark stores in May. Retail price not yet available.
