Sideshow Collectibles has officially announced a licensing arrangement with Hasbro to produce Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Maquettes and Statues. Although the agreement was mentioned in July during their panel presentation at the San Diego Comic-Con, the official notice didn’t come until September. According to Sideshow Collectibles, the first piece to be produced will be a 20-inch Optimus Prime Maquette.
Star Wars: In Concert begins its worldwide arena tour on October 1, 2009 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Debuting at the O2 in London back in April, this multi-media extravaganza features music from all six Star Wars films scored by John Williams, accompanied by specially-edited visuals, a live orchestra, choir and narration. An exclusive exhibit of Star Wars costumes, props, artwork and behind-the-scenes videos will travel with the concert tour; many of the pieces have never been publicly displayed outside the Skywalker Ranch before.
Warner Bros. officially announced the release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as December 8, 2009. Available in Blu-ray and DVD, the Blu-ray Combo Pack features the Maximum Movie Mode (hosted by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint), along with a standard disc and digital copy of the film. A two-disc special edition of the film will also be available on DVD, including a digital copy to watch from your computer or portable media player.
