Doctor Who Merch is offering an exclusive Doctor Who figure from Underground Toys.  The Third Doctor, played by Jon Pertwee, is reflected in this exclusive figure in his black jacket with red piping and long trousers, plus his versatile sonic screwdriver.  Joining the Doctor are three deadly, toxic giant maggots (gotta love chemically induced mutations), as seen in the episode “The Green Death”.

While only three figures in the Star Trek Movie Figure Wave 2 assortment from Playmates were originally intended to be exclusive to Entertainment Earth, they all are now.  For about $70, you can get the ten 3.75″ action figures only from Entertainment Earth when they come out in January 2010.  Not a bad way to complete your figure collection and the pieces needed to finish off the Star Trek Movie Enterprise Bridge Playset.

McFarlane Toys has announced that their Halo Series 6 figures will be landing in stores and online October 2009.  The new “Medal Edition” series includes new characters, new weapons, plus 10 different collectible medals.  The line includes the introduction of the highly desired Spartan Recon Armor, as well as the new “The Rookie” figure from Halo 3: ODST.  Other figures include Elite Shipmaster -RTAS ‘Vadumee, Brute Bodyguard, Flood Pure Form Stalker, white, blue, & teal Spartan EVAs, a red Grunt, an orange Spartan CQB, a steel Spartan Recon, a sage Spartan Hayabusa, and a gold Elite Assault.

James Cameron’s AVATAR Movie Toys Coming This October

AVATAR AMP suitThe Mattel line of action figures, creatures and vehicles based on the upcoming James Cameron film, AVATAR, is set to begin shipping in October.  The toy lineup includes 4.25″ figures for the Na’vi characters, accented with glow-in-the-dark luminescence, as well as 3.75″ figures based on the human characters (such as Jake Sully, Col. Quaritch and Dr. Grace Augustine).  Each figure comes with a unique weapon or accessory and exclusive character-specific i-TAG.
