Built by Galactica’s Chief Tyrol, the Blackbird infiltrated the Cylon fleet and helped destroy the Cylon resurrection ship. Through QMx’s Artisan’s program, you can now own an authorized studio-scale version of this incredible sci-fi vehicle, built to order, customized and handcrafted by Hollywood model-making experts. Quantum Mechanix Little Frakkin' Starbuck
Starting Friday, October 16, Quantum Mechanix will start taking orders for their new Little Frakkin’ Colonials and Little Frakkin’ Toasters from Battlestar Galactica. Up first in the line of limited-edition, animated maquettes are the Cylon Centurion and the indomitable Kara “Starbuck” Thrace. These 6″ figures are hand-painted and cast in resin, then individually numbered. Each statue is limited to only 1000 pieces. Based on an original design by Battlestar Galactica CG artist Dustin Adair (check out his animated short “We Were Centurions” at www.wewerecenturions.com).
