Battlestar Galactica collectors be alert: Quantum Mechanix is set to unleash an extremely limited-edition replica of the Colonial “Blackbird”  Stealth Viper.  Built by Galactica’s Chief Tyrol, the Blackbird infiltrated the Cylon fleet and helped destroy the Cylon resurrection ship.  Through QMx’s Artisan’s program,  you can now own an authorized studio-scale version of this incredible sci-fi vehicle, built to order, customized and handcrafted by Hollywood model-making experts.  The edition size is set to 40 pieces, selling for about $1200 each.  Quantam Mechanix opens ordering on April 23, 2010, at 3 p.m. ET.
