Muggles, mark your calendars. Universal Orlando announced today that June 18, 2010, is the official public grand opening for their new Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park. They also revealed some details of the new attraction: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Their initial announcement last fall had limited information about the attraction, so it’s nice to see what the designers have in mind for visitors.
Harry Potter and the Half-Bood Prince
Warner Bros. officially announced the release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as December 8, 2009. Available in Blu-ray and DVD, the Blu-ray Combo Pack features the Maximum Movie Mode (hosted by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint), along with a standard disc and digital copy of the film. A two-disc special edition of the film will also be available on DVD, including a digital copy to watch from your computer or portable media player.

Universal Orlando Resorts and Warner Bros. announced today a first look at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, a new theme park opening Spring 2010 in Orlando, Florida. Details of the new 20-acre park were unveiled during a video presentation posted to Universal Orlando web site.
