Uncle Milton Industries is expanding their Star Wars Science collection this year, introducing several new sets in May and later in 2010. Included in the new lineup: Death Star Planetarium, Holographic Animation Lab, Lightsaber Room Light, and Mini Lightsaber Tech Lab. They are currently available for pre-order from BigBadToyStore.com and other online retailers. Many of the previously released Star Wars Science sets are also still available from BigBadToyStore and from Uncle Milton Industries directly.
Add some shelf-appeal to your books or sci-fi DVD collection with this set of illuminated bookends from the Star Wars Shop. Featuring a replica of Darth Vader’s lightsaber skewering each end, the battery-powered bookends light up to add to the effect (shown here in prototype form). The set of bookends, exclusive to the Star Wars Shop, costs $50 and is set to ship March 31, 2010.
Available for pre-order from Star Wars Shop. Retail price $49.99.

While not quite a true laser sword, these laser pointers shaped like Star Wars lightsabers are still pretty cool. One-third scale versions of the lightsaber hilts carried by Darth Maul and Darth Vader, they are also functional red-dot laser pointers. Available from ThinkGeek, these pointers retail for $15 each.
In the classroom or the boardroom, laser pointers are useful tools (like lightsabers, except without the whole slicing and dicing thing). And if you’re going to use a laser pointer, you might as well use one with some style.
Available from ThinkGeek. Retail price $14.99
